Located at the intersection of Old Highway 17 and Sea Mountain Hwy in the Tidewater Business Center, the Vagabonds Attic Thrift Store is one of the most recent versions of thrift stores that has appeared in the greater North Myrtle Beach & Litle River area. Previously located out in Wampee on Highway 90, a relocation to a new are brought a change of name (from Second Blessing Thrift Store) to the new Vagabonds Attic Thrift Store.
Both the new name & location have brought to the co-owners Zack Smith & Jack Nash, a greater accessibility and visibility by a larger number of area residents and visitors. Of cource, the fact that many vehicles are "stopped in their tracks" by the presence of the traffic light at the intersection and by the swing bridge over the Intercoastal Waterway, give many people the chance to see this distinctive store and lead them right in, or with the resolve to return at a later date. Once inside, people see why this store has the distinction it claims in its name. Filled with furniture, househild items, lamps, artwork, jewelry, rugs and much more. The items are displayed to show off their "second life" in pleasing and ever-changing settings. It is the proverbial "champagne taste on a beer budget" offering that please so many customers and keep them coming into the store over and over. From the "high-end" items to the "Dollar shelves" there is really something for everyone. As soft music is heard in the background, customershave the opportunitiey to take their time to browse and visualize the many decorating opportunities that these items can provide. If you can imagine it, it is probably here, and for a reasonable price.
