The Concept of the "Stage"
Home staging is becoming an important aspect in selling homes today. In many areas of the country there is a large supply of homes and, as a result, a very competitive market. If you want to make your house the most sellable one in the neighborhood, you'll undoubtedly have to perform some home staging. Home staging is cleaning, organizing, rearranging, updating, and
preparing your home for sale. A large factor of why people buy a particular home is emotional. This is one of the reasons home staging is so effective - you create an atmosphere that projects pleasant times to come in a well-cared for, fresh, bright, and uncluttered home.
“If you want to make your house the most sellable one in the neighborhood, you'll undoubtedly have to perform some Home Staging.”
What Is "Staging"?
Home Staging is a proven way to get top dollar for your home as you prepare it for sale. It is about showcasing the architecture of the space and not the belongings in the space. Staging is more about un-decorating than decorating.
We will bring in furniture, artwork, plants, rugs, and all accessories to make a house look it's best while on the market.
Sometimes a seller will want to use their own furnishings and we will consult them on how to reduce clutter and open up rooms.
We are a full service staging company. We offer contractor consulting services which includes choosing paint, tiles, cabinets, etc., and work with builders and developers to get a new house ready for sale.
Tips About Home Staging
Curb Appeal
1. Eliminate all outside clutter.
2. Apply a fresh coat of paint.
3. Professionally power wash your outside if painting
isn't practical.
4. Freshen up your landscaping. Add some new plants,
flowers, etc.
5. Eliminate other negatives.
Eliminate stains and oil droppings in the driveway.
Remove old tv antenna or satellite dish on the roof,
etc.
Buy a new doormat, place some potted flowers or
greenary on the porch.
Inside Your Home
1. Eliminate all clutter.
2. Hire a professional house cleaning service and do a thorough once-over.
3. Apply a fresh coat of paint, use cool warm colors, not anything to strong.
4. Make sure window treatments are not too heavy or no window treatments can create an open
feeling.
5. Leave the lights on to make the home seem as bright as possible.
6. Furniture - Reduce the pieces of furniture in all rooms and be sure it is size appropriate.
